How to get the Postmoogle Barding Chocobo armor in FFXIV

Make your Chocobo an adorable Postmoogle!

In Final Fantasy XIV, it's possible to dress up your Chocobo (Companion) in many styles of Barding to change their appearance and personalize them. One of the most sought-after Barding styles is the Postmoogle Barding, a style of armor that makes your Chocobo look like an adorable Postmoogle assistant!

The Postmoogle Barding is available from the Saint Valentione's Day event in 2022. Running between Feb. 8 and Feb. 21, the event's questline grants you the Postmoogle Barding as a reward upon completion.

If you've missed the event, then you'll most likely have to wait to be able to get the item again. Some event items available during previous iterations of events can be obtained during the later events for Gil or through the questline.

Beyond that, most event items make their way onto the Final Fantasy XIV Online Store in due time. Once an event is a year old, some of the more premium items, such as Bardings, Mounts, and Glamour sets, will make their way onto the game's cash shop. This means you'll have to pay real money for them, but it's a great way to complete your collection if you missed out on the event when it was running.
