Where to get all Ores in Final Fantasy XIV Online

Ore in Final Fantasy XIV is one of the most important crafting components for several of the crafting jobs. Ore is used by Armorers, Blacksmiths, Alchemists, and in a limited capacity by almost every single job. 

But finding all those ores can sometimes be a thankless task. That’s why we’ve compiled a list of all the ores in Final Fantasy 14 and where exactly to find them.

Help, I can't find the node/ore location!

In certain cases a node or ore will not appear. In this case you will need to acquire the Tome of Geological Folklore for the area. These tomes, purchased for Gatherer's Scrips, will reveal hidden ore locations to you.

Not a Miner?

You don't have to be a miner to gather all of these ores. Some are available through Levequests, can be bought from high-level vendors, or can be found on the Market Board. But for the easiest (and cheapest) way to gather ore, it's best level up that Miner and gather your own!

Adamantite Ore

Adamantite only spawns from a Unspoiled Node at 00:00-02:00am Eorzea Time or 12:00pm-14:00pm Eorzea Time.

Aurum Regis Ore

Aurum Regis appears in the Churning Mists at 02:00-04:00 Eorzea Time or 14:00-16:00 Eorzea Time.

Chromite Ore

Chromite Ore is a collectable ore found in The Peaks in Gyr Abania. It spawns very close to the Ala Ghiri aetheryte. It’s found in a Legendary Mineral Deposit at 10:00-12:00am Eorzea Time or 22:00-00:00pm Eorzea Time.

Cloud Mythril Ore

Cloud Mythril Ore is purchased from Gathers Scrip Exchange merchants for 50 Yellow Gather’s Scrips.

Cobalt Ore

Cobalt Ore is found in Northern Thanalan in between both aetherytes. 

Copper Ore

Copper Ore is an extremely common ore that is dropped by Dobblin mobs, available from almost every material supplier, or can be mined at both Hammerlea or The Spineless Basin in Thanalan.

Darksteel Ore 

Darksteel Ore appears near Dragonhead, in the Coerthas Central Highlands Between 01:00-04:00am Eorzea Time.

Doman Iron Ore

Doman Iron Ore is available in Yanxia, near Namai.

Durium Ore

Durium Ore appears in Yanxia, east of Namai.

Electrum Ore

Electrum Ore is available near Camp Bronze Lake in Upper La Noscea.

Gold Ore

Gold Ore only appears between 09:00-12:00 Eorzea Time in Eastern Thanalan, near The Burning Wall.

Hardsilver Ore

Hardsilver Ore is a Hidden Material in the Dravanian Hinterlands, needing either high enough Perception rating to find it, or use the ability Luck of the Mountaineer.

Iron Ore

Iron Ore is a common ore that can be bought from the Armor Smithing vendor. It can also be mined at Horizon’s Edge in Western Thanalan, near the entrance to Copperbell Mines.

Koppranickle Ore

Koppranickle Ore can be mined in the southern part of Othard, The Ruby Sea.

Light Kidney Ore

A collectable ore to be delivered for Yellow Gatherer's Scrips, Light Kidney Ore is Available from The Dravanian Hinterlands at 02:00-04:00 Eorzea Time.

Lumythrite Ore

Lumythrite Ore appears in the far south west of the Churning Mists between 02:00-04:00 and 14:00-16:00 ET.

Molybdenum Ore

A collectable ore, Molybdenum Ore spawns in The Lochs.

Mythril Ore

Mythril Ore appears in the far south of the Sagolii Desert in Southern Thanalan.

Mythrite Ore

Mythrite Ore is found in Coerthas Western Highlands.

Nightsteel Ore

Nightsteel Ore spawns in an node at 06:00-08:00 and 18:00-20:00 Eorzea Time in the Ruby Sea.

Palladium Ore

Palladium Ore Spawns 08:00-10:00 and 20:00-22:00 Eorzea Time in Yanxia.

Peacock Ore

Peacock Ore is a purchased item from Grand Company Quatermasters. It costs 200 Seals. It can also be purchased from the Ixali Vender after completing the Ixali Beast Tribe quests.

Platinum Ore

Platinum Ore only spawns at 04:00-06:00 in Southern Thanalan.

Silvergrace Ore

Silvergrace Ore spawns from an unspoilt node at 04:00-06:00am and 16:00-18:00pm Eorzea Time on the Azim Steppe.

Silver Ore

Silver Ore spawns in the north east corner of South Shroud.

Tin Ore

Tin Ore is an extremely common ore that is dropped by Dobblin mobs, available from almost every material supplier.

Titanium Ore

Titanium Ore is found in the north of the Dravanian Forelands.

Wootz Ore

Wootz Ore is obtainable from Grand Company Quartermasters for 2,250 Company Seals.

Yellow Copper Ore

Yellow Copper Ore is a raw ore that spawns in the Coerthas Western Highlands.

Zeolite Ore

Zeolite Ore appears in the Dravanian Hinterlands at 08:00-10:00 and 20:00-22:00 ET.

Zinc Ore

Zinc Ore is a common ore available to buy from Aistan in Ul'dah. It can also be mined just out of the Ul'dah city limits.
