How to get Saplings in Forager

Here is everything you need to know about getting Tree Saplings in Forager.

If you want to regrow trees in Forager, you will need an item called Tree Saplings. Here's what you will need and how to get them.

Where to get Saplings in Forager

To get saplings in Forager, you will need to either buy them at the marketplace structure with coins or make them at the windmill using citrus fruit. That said, here's how to make both structures you will need to get saplings.

How to make a windmill in Forager

  • 40 Wood
  • 30 Brick: You can craft bricks with two stones and one coal.
  • 15 Thread: You can craft thread from cotton plants.
  • Farming Skill

Once you got the windmill made, you can then use it to craft the saplings with three citrus fruits that you get as drops from trees in the game.

  • 30 Brick
  • 5 Leather: To make leather, you will need two hides and two threads and a sewing station crafted and placed.
  • Trade Skill

Once built, the marketplace will allow buying several kinds of items, including the tree saplings for coins;

After you get the tree saplings through whatever means, you will be able to plant them to regrow trees via a shovel. If you don't know how to craft a shovel, you can do so with 20 iron and 20 wood.

You can also use saplings at some point to complete the Druid’s Tree House two quest. Completing this quest will require you to get a total of 30 of the saplings, and upon completion you will get two chests.
