Fortnite adds The Kid LAROI radio station, teases concert

All signs are pointing towards another Fortnite concert in the very near future.

Fortnite Chapter 4 players now have a new radio station featuring music superstar The Kid LAROI to listen to while whipping around the map. Epic Games added LAROI's Icon Radio Takeover to the game on January 17, and all signs are pointing toward the popular artist performing an in-game concert in the very near future.

The radio station is available now for players who load up the game. Fortnite players will be getting more information later on regarding the rumored concert.

Will The Kid LAROI be Fortnite's next concert?

Rumors of the concert started around the turn of the new year when Insider Gaming reported it was in the works. The report states the concert will take place on either January 24 or 25.

Several big names have performed within the confines of Fortnite in the past, between Travis Scott, Ariana Grande, Marshmello, and J Balvin. The Kid LAROI will become just the latest name to appear in Epic's battle royale, and Fortnite leaker HYPEX believes the musician will be getting his own skin as well. The last Fortnite concert was Grande's The Rift Tour back in 2021.

It's not yet known if this concert, if the rumors are true, will be an in-game takeover like Grande's or Scott's, or if it'll be something confined to Creative mode like Balvin's was for the 2020 Fortnitemares event. In the past, events like this have come with new challenges for players to earn some much-needed XP for their Battle Pass.

The Kid LAROI is perhaps best known for his 2021 collaboration STAY with Justin Bieber. The song peaked at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 charts, becoming Laroi's first song to do so.
