Fortnite Season 5: Week 2 Challenges Guide

Got quests to complete!

Week 2 is coming soon in Fortnite, and even though the challenges are being handled a bit differently this time, as the challenges now have rarity! This will be all the available information we have about the upcoming challenges.

Fortnite Season 5: Week 2 Challenges Guide

Though the challenges may seem a bit strange in Season 5, the requirements for completing them are fairly doable. Each week players are given Seven Epic quests and one Legendary Quest they have to complete. You still get experience for completing them; for Epic Quests, you earn 22,000 XP.

One of the eight quests will always be a Legendary quest, and you'll earn a whopping 55,000 XP for finishing it; this is the highest-tier of rarity. Luckily, this Legendary quest can be done with multiple players involved, like the group quests from previous seasons, but of course depending on what you have to complete.

  • Quest Rarity (from highest to lowest)
    • Legendary - 55,000 XP
    • Epic- 22,000XP

Please note that due to these challenges being data mined, the information may change upon official release on December 10! This is assuming that Epic has not shifted the day.

Just for the heads up, a commenter has mentioned that you cannot do any Epic quests unless they show up for you on your challenge list. Meaning it's pointless to do some of these, no matter how easy they are, until they appear on your list. Complete the quests you have first, and then new challenges will replace those.

Week 2

Remember to finish off your Legendary quest, as that is the only one that is time-limited! The full list of challenges - we have information on - is available here, at our Fortnite Chapter 2: Season 5 Guide – Challenges & Information article!

About the Author

Hey, my name is Mark, and I'm a video game enthusiast! My earliest memory was playing Worms on the Amiga against my Godmother, yes the Amiga, massive box type thing, needed eighty-five thousand floppy disks to play one game, maybe a slight exaggeration. Ah, those were the days! I love RPG’s, and The Legend of Zelda series. Dogs are pretty awesome.

  1. Question, do you get 55k exp per stage of a Legendary quest or is it a total of all stages?

    1. First stage is 55k, the rest are 22k each.

  2. Have you ever considered doing a page based on guns and battle royale items I am not asking for it just as a suggestion

    1. We haven’t, but we may consider creating one in the future!

      1. Okay and you could do categorization by gun type and rarity
When they were vaulted and unvaulted and stats on the guns for people who do not know

  3. Shouldn’t the quest rarity from highest to lowest section say Legendary and epic instead of legendary and rare? The rare quests are the punchcards.

    1. You are correct! It’s been amended. Appreciated!

  4. Will legendary quests become supercharged xp if not finished by the time limit

    1. Nope, once the timer runs out they are gone for good which is why Mark mentioned to concentrate on those while they are available.

  5. Hello. So obviously legendary quest from last week is time limited. But are you sure that all week one missions will expire once next week hits? I still have epic quest for 150m sniper elim, and this one doesn’t appear to be time limited: no time indicator under it like the legendary mission for bounties had.

    1. Oh, that’s interesting to know, thank you! I’ll amend the guide. I was sure, but guess I was wrong! I appreciate the comment!
