Fortnite v17.10 Patch Notes | Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 Updates & Patches

Epic Games is already dropping an update for Chapter 2 Season 7 of Fortnite intending to fix some problems players have run into and (based on past patches) add more content to the game. While they are great at keeping content they might add under wraps, we have the list of the fixes they're making. Check out the list below to see everything marked as Fixed in Next Game Update on the Fortnite Community Trello Board.

Planned Content

The following content is rumored or expected to be released in an upcoming patch. There is no guarantee that it will make it to this current patch, but leaks like this usually aren't known until the changes are about the drop!

• Map NPC Kymera
  • Sells an Exotic Pulse Rifle
    • 500 Gold
    • Less recoil than other rarities
    • Shoots 2 bullets per shot
    • Damage: Close - 30, Mid - 24, Long - 20
  • Can be dueled for a Purple Tactical Shotgun
• Alien Eggs & Parasites
  • Take away health but give you enhanced mobility
  • Can be removed by touching water, fire, or enter a prop
• UFOs to drop from Alien Mothership
• Gold Alien Artifacts that will be worth seven artifacts in the customization shop for Kymera

Bug Fixes

• General Issues
  • Item Shop update notice not clearing
• Battle Royale
  • Taking damage through cars while in motion.
  • Ability to change loot pools in Battle Lab temporarily disabled.
  • Character Collection Book uncompletable because of missing entries.
  • Saucers may become inoperable if a beamed-up object falls on it.
  • One-handed pickaxes continue to perform extra swings.
• Creative
  • Hud Controller Device join in progress.
    • This is an issue that was causing the Hud Controller device to appear as default while joining a session in progress.
  • Images are cut off in the Discover tab.
  • Player can encounter infinite loading screen when flying out of the Island.
  • Asset memory size not showing in pre-place mode on XL Islands.
• Save the World
  • Melee hits aren't registering on Melee Weapons for PC.
  • Husks can damage objectives through player-built structures in Deliver the Bomb.
  • Saurian Vigor perk stops working after a respawn.

That's all the fixes they have planned so far, but don't forget: they might add more content and quests when the patch drops!
