How to use Augments in Fortnite – PS4 and Xbox

I reject your Reality and Augment my own!

Fortnite Chapter 4 is now here, bringing many new items and features into the game. Among these new additions are Reality Augments. These are special perks that provide players with exclusive benefits during the game. Here is how to activate Reality Augments in Fortnite on PS4 and Xbox.

How to activate Reality Augments in Fortnite Chapter 4 on PS4 and Xbox

To activate a Reality Augment in Fortnite on your Xbox console, press Right on your D-pad, and if you are playing on PS4, press the R2 trigger on your controller. At particular intervals during the match, a small Ready icon will appear on the right side of the screen, signaling to the player a Reality Augment is ready to be used. 

They will be presented with a choice between two random Augments with the ability to reroll them. The first reroll will be free, and each subsequent one will cost you one hundred gold bars. To reroll an Augment on the PS4 console, press the Square button and X on your D-pad.

You will be able to use more Reality Augments as the match progresses. The longer you play, the more Augments you will collect. There are 22 available Reality Augments as of Season 1 in Fortnite Chapter 4. We expect more to be added as the season goes on. Certain Reality Augments are not available in competitive play, like Storm Mark and Chug Gunner.
