Fortnite How-to Yeet an Opponent

Our Fortnite How-to Yeet an Opponent Guide will teach you what you need to know about tossing some hapless individual into the unknown. You will need to do this to complete one of the challenges that involves the tier 100 skin in Chapter 2: Season 1 of the battle pass.

While this was added in the very beginning of the new chapter of the game, it wasn't absolutely necessary to know how-to do this. If you want to finish your Unfused Challenges, however, then you will need to hurl an opponent from a high spot to inflict some damage on them.

How-to Yeet an Opponent

Here are the steps requires for yeeting an opponent in Fortnite!

Step 1: Play Duos or Squads

You will need to be playing a mode where an enemy can be knocked down and revived. So, this can generally only be done in either Duos or Squads. You can't do this in Team Rumble where enemies immediately respawn.

Step 2: Down an Enemy

You will need to knock an enemy player but not finish them off completely. You also don't want to eliminate all of their teammates, or you won't be able to pick up the downed player!

Step 3: Pick Up Opponent

Depending on what key you have bound, you can walk up to a downed opponent and pick them up over your shoulder!

Step 4: Throw Them Off a High Place

The final step is to throw them off of a high place! You will hopefully have somewhere already built, but you might need to put down the person and build up four or five ramps to run up and throw them off of it. You just need a high enough area for them to fall and have damage dealt to them!

How-to Yeet on Mobile

If you are on mobile, this might be a bit more difficult for you. There's a button you can set in your HUD called "Carry Drop DBNO" that allows you to pick up a player. This button can be used to drop them as well, but that's not what we need. What you need to do to actually "yeet" someone is to press the fire button! Make sure you have that one on your screen, or you won't be able to throw a person.
