Aquila Favonia – How to get, Ascension, stats, and who can use it in Genshin Impact

A rare Physical Damage sword.

Aquila Favonia is a five-star sword with a very niche value proposition: it boosts the wielder's Physical Damage bonus, a stat that is only used by a handful of characters in the game. I'm personally not a big fan of Genshin Impact's Physical Damage builds, but if you enjoy it, then consider giving this sword a try.

How to get Aquila Favonia in Genshin Impact

Aquila Favonia is a standard banner weapon, which means that you can pull for it from the permanent Wanderlust Invocation banner, as well as all limited weapon banners. However, it also means that it's impossible to chart an Epitomized Path to target the Aquila Favonia, so I don't recommend intentionally aiming to get this weapon from the gacha.

Genshin Impact Aquila Favonia stats

  • Base Attack: 48 to 674
  • Substat: Physical Damage Bonus (9 to 41.3 percent)
  • Passive: Falcon's Defiance
    • Attack is increased by 20/25/30/35/40 percent. Triggers on taking Damage: the soul of the Falcon of the West awakens, holding the banner of the resistance aloft, regenerating HP equal to 100/115/130/145/160 percent of Attack and dealing 200/230/260/290/320 percent of Attack as Damage to surrounding opponents. This effect can only occur once every 15 seconds.

Who can use Aquila Favonia in Genshin Impact

Aquila Favonia is a Physical Damage sword, so make sure to build the characters below accordingly before giving them this weapon. For example, Jean can be built as a healer, support, or with a lot of EM, but if you want to make the Aquila Favonia useful on her, then you must build her as a Physical DPS.
