Elemental Co-op Event, plus Alchemy Handbook coming to Genshin Impact on the 12th October

A new Co-op event and Handbook to complete is coming to Genshin Impact very soon.

At the moment, everybody is eagerly awaiting the next update coming to Genshin Impact from miHoYo, which is going to be 1.1. We have a guide on the potential 1.1 patch notes but remember, take everything with a pinch of salt. As until they are entirely official, nothing is set 100% in stone.

An Elemental Co-op Event plus a new Alchemy Handbook is coming to Genshin Impact soon. The Alchemy Handbook is something that you can rank up during the event to obtain more rewards for it. As the name implies, you have to work with other Travelers worldwide and are put into element domains, where it's your team vs hordes of enemies. Up to 4 players can join in on the fun, or even 2, and both being able to swap out to an additional character.

From the picture taken as a preview for the Alchemy Handbook, it seems that we're getting an array of different items from leveling it up. Primogems, Enhancement Crystals, Artifacts, and Character EXP materials. The further down the list, no doubt, the more difficult the task, but you'll also receive a better reward for completing it.

This is taken from the miHoYo official post:

Work together with other Travelers to shovel Elemental Clots into the Elemental Crucible to advance the alchemical process. After the alchemical transmutation is completed, consume Original Resin to receive bounties, including Character EXP materials, Adventure EXP, and more. Bounties will be calculated based on each Traveler's individual World Level. You can also obtain rewards such as Primogems, Character Ascension materials, and more by completing achievements in the Alchemy Handbook.

(Once the event has been unlocked, Travelers may open the event menu by pressing F5 (PC), tapping the compass icon in the top-right corner (mobile), or holding the L1 button and selecting the compass from the Shortcut Wheel (PS4).)

The event begins at 10 AM on October 12th, 2020 (GMT+8), and ends at 03:59 AM on the 19th of October 2020 (GMT+8).

Players have to be Adventure Rank 20 or higher and complete all quests in Prologue: Act II - For a Tomorrow Without Tears. Without being/completing either of these requirements, you cannot play the event.
