The Portable Waypoint is actually what it sounds like, you can create a waypoint anywhere on the map, and you can fast-travel to it from any location on the map! But first, you must reach Reputation Level 6 in Mondstadt, and then head to a crafting bench to create the Portable Waypoint.

To craft the Portable Waypoint you need the following:

    • Crystal Chunk x5, Luminescent Spine x2, and Dead Ley Line Leaves x1

However, they are limitations; you can only hold one Portable Waypoint and only have one waypoint open at a time - if you attempt to make a second Portable Waypoint, your first one will disappear! The waypoint will only last for seven days, so always keep that in mind, and there is a 60-second cooldown to be able to create another waypoint if you made an error. Furthermore, upon using the Portable Waypoint, the item will be used, meaning you have to craft another one, each time you want to use one.
