Exercise from Hilichurl-hunting might help Sayu grow taller!

Sayu is a four-star Anemo claymore user and a sleep-deprived ninja from the Shuumatsuban, who forever aims to grow a few inches taller. From disguising as a daruma to rolling around in her Elemental Skill, this little ninja is super-fun to play with, especially while exploring vast land areas. If you were lucky enough to pull for Sayu, here's everything you need to prepare to Ascend her.

Level-up cost

You need to prepare the following to level up Sayu to either 80 or 90. This doesn't include Ascension and Talent costs.

  • Level 1-80
    • Hero's Wit: 248
    • Mora: 987,905
  • Level 1-90
    • Hero's Wit: 420
    • Mora: 1,672,530

Ascension materials & cost

You need to prepare 420,000 Mora and the following materials to fully Ascend Sayu. The Mora value doesn't include level-up and Talent costs.

Local Specialty & Boss material


x168 Crystal Marrow

x46 Marionette Core

Sayu local specialty is the Crystal Marrow, an ore-like material that can be found on Yashiori Island. Meanwhile, her boss material is the Marionette Core, which is dropped by the Maguu Kenki, located on the same island.

Gemstones


x1 Vayuda Turquoise Sliver

x9 Vayuda Turquoise Fragment

x9 Vayuda Turquoise Chunk

x6 Vayuda Turquoise Gemstone

These are dropped by all Electro Normal and World Bosses, such as the Maguu Kenki and Anemo Hypostasis. Additionally, you can convert materials using the Crafting Table to turn your existing Gemstones into Anemo ones.

x30 Shimmering Nectar

x36 Energy Nectar

Sayu's common materials are Nectars, which are dropped by Whopperflowers all over Teyvat.

Talent level-up materials & cost

You must prepare 1,652,500 Mora and the following materials to level up all three of Sayu's Talents to level 10. The Mora value doesn't include character level-up and Ascension costs.

These can be farmed from the Violet Court Domain in the small islet west of Narukami Island on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

World Boss material & Crown of Insight

x18 Gilded Scale

Crowns of Insight are limited rewards that can be obtained from big events. Sayu's World Boss material is called the Gilded Scale. It can be farmed from the Azhdaha Weekly Boss in the Beneath the Dragon-Queller Domain at the foot of Mt. Hulao.
