Genshin Impact Sethos Farming Guide – All Talent & Ascension materials

Sethos is a four-star Electro bow user affiliated with Genshin Impact's Temple of Silence and is a vessel of Hermanubis. While little is known about him, Sethos is described as an energetic desert-dweller who loves helping others. If you managed to pull for him, here's everything you need to farm to max him out.

Genshin Impact Sethos level-up, Talent, & Ascension materials

Sethos Level-up cost

You'll need Hero's Wit and Mora to level Sethos up to 80 or 90. As an on-field DPS unit, he will benefit from being level 80 at max Ascension, but as he doesn't scale off Elemental Mastery, there's no rush to get him to level 90.

Sethos Ascension materials & cost

You'll need 420,000 Mora and the following materials to fully Ascend Sethos to Ascension level six.

Local Specialty & Boss material

x168 Trishiraite

x46 Cloudseam Scale

Sethos' local specialty is the Trishiraite, making him the first character to use this material for Ascension. It can only be farmed from the Girdle of the Sands region in Sumeru. His boss material is the Cloudseam Scale, dropped by Solitary Suanni in Chenyu Vale.

As an Electro unit, Sethos will need Vajrada Amethyst materials, which are dropped by all Electro Normal, World, and Weekly Bosses, including the Electro Hypostasis, Electro Regisvine, Everlasting Lord of Arcane Wisdom, and Thunder Manifestation (among others). Additionally, you can convert materials using the Crafting Table to turn any of your existing Gemstones into Electro ones.

Sethos' common Ascension materials are the Faded Red Satin, Trimmed Red Silk, and Rich Red Brocade, which drop from all types of Eremites in Sumeru's desert area (including higher-tier and stronger Eremites). You can also purchase the lower-tier materials from Paimon's Bargains every month in limited quantities.

Sethos Talent level-up materials & cost

You must have 1,652,500 Mora and the following materials to level up all three of Sethos's Talents to level 10. You'll spend less if you don't intend to triple-crown him.

Praxis materials can be farmed from the Steeple of Ignorance Domain in Sumeru every Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Common Ascension and Talent materials are always the same but in different quantities, so you'll have to defeat even more Eremites to account for Sethos' Talent level-up requirements.

Weekly Boss material & Crown of Insight

You can get Crowns of Insight by participating in major events across every Genshin Impact update. Meanwhile, Sethos' Weekly Boss material is rumored to be Daka's Bell, which is dropped by Everlasting Lord of Arcane Wisdom in Sumeru.
