How to exchange and trade toy vouchers in the Genshin Impact Core of the Apparatus event

Genshin Impact's Core of the Apparatus event introduces players to Bertrand, a greedy toymaker from Fontaine looking to make a big buck from Inazuma's toy market. The event runs from June 29, 2022, to July 11, 2022, and is open to all players who have completed the following requirements:

• Reach Adventure Rank 30 and above
• Complete the Ritou Escape Plan part of the Inazuma Archon Quest: Chapter II: Act I - The Immovable God and the Eternal Euthymia
• Complete the Chisato's Letter World Quest

How to unlock the Core of the Apparatus event in Genshin Impact

Once you meet all the requirements listed above, you'll automatically get an Event Quest called A-Toymaking We Shall Go. It will prompt you to speak with Katheryne in the Inazuma Adventurer's Guild, and then to the toymaker Bertrand in Ritou. The event is divided into three parts that release within the first three days of the event.

How to exchange toy vouchers in Genshin Impact

Once you've created toys in the Core of the Apparatus event, you need to exchange the voucher for the physical model. To do so, speak to Bertrand and select I'd like to pick a toy to keep. You can then exchange any of your existing vouchers for the physical toy.

While you can create as many toys as you want, you can only redeem a maximum of four. Please be careful and think twice before claiming a toy, as you can't exchange it for something else if you change your mind later on.

The toy is a Furnishing item that can be placed in the Serenitea Pot—but they can only live outdoors. You can find them in the Landscape section of the placement menu, alongside other statue-like ornaments. The toys give 20 Adeptal Energy and cost 500 Load each, as they're animated objects.

How to trade toy vouchers in Genshin Impact

There are 20 possible toys that can be created and a high chance of making the wrong one if you aren't careful. You can give away toy vouchers you don't need to friends by clicking Trade in the event menu, where you'll find a list of all the vouchers your friends request for. Keep in mind that you can only give them vouchers that you own. Additionally, you can ask friends for vouchers you have trouble making by clicking My Wishlist and selecting all the vouchers you want.
