How to get The Nine-Word Rumor hidden Achievement in The Chasm in Genshin Impact

The Nine-Word Rumor is a hidden achievement obtained from Genshin Impact's The Chasm: Underground Mines. You can start working toward it after unlocking The Chasm Spelunkers, but you need to complete the entire questline up to Wherefore Did the Spiritstone Descend to access all the areas necessary to complete the Hidden Exploration Objective.

Your goal is to search for and interact with nine secret messages written in caves, pillars, and other surfaces. They glow purple and disappear when you approach them while equipping the Lumenstone Adjuvant.

How to Interact with Secret Messages in The Chasm: Underground Mines

The secret messages will disappear when you approach them while equipping the Lumenstone Adjuvant, so you need to either unequip all Gadgets or equip any other Gadget to approach the runes. Doing so will prevent the words from disappearing, allowing you to Observe them to complete the Hidden Exploration Objective.

Where to Find All Nine Secret Messages in The Chasm: Underground Mines

Reference the image above to find all nine secret messages. You can interact with them in any order, but here are some tips on how to find them:

1. Start from the Teleport Waypoint in The Chasm: Main Mining Area and head upward to find the runes. Bring a battle-ready team as a Hydro Abyss Mage and Cryo Abyss Mage will appear when you approach the secret message.
2. Start from the upside-down Teleport Waypoint and make your way upward to find the runes. It's being guarded by a Ruin Grader, so make sure to bring a battle-ready team.
3. Start from the Teleport Waypoint in the Underground Waterway and follow the path to the area marked above. You'll find yourself in a ruin. The runes are located on one of the walls. Make sure to look up, as the message is at the top of the wall, near the ceiling.
4. From the position of #3, follow the path to the area marked above and jump down to find message #4.
5. Start from the nearby Teleport Waypoint. You need to jump down to find the runes.
6. Start from either the Teleport Waypoint on the left or right and follow the path to find the runes.
7. Start from the Teleport Waypoint at the Stony Halls and jump down to find the runes.
8. Start from the Teleport Waypoint below the Stony Halls and walk along the path on the left without jumping to the very bottom. Climb the pillar to find the runes.
9. From the position of #8, you'll find an opening that leads underground. Jump down to find the runes.
