The Welkin Moon can be purchased several times, extending the duration and awarding 300 more Genesis Crystals with each purchase. The Welkin Moon can only be extended if the duration is 180 days or less, however.

Is the Welkin Moon worth buying?

Ultimately, the Blessing of the Welkin Moon is worth buying if you plan to consistently play Genshin Impact. If you only log on around ten days a month, Welkin Moon may not be the right choice. Even if there's not a character you want on the current banner, Welkin Moon is a great way to save up Primogems for future banners. If you only log on and do your daily commissions, you can save up 150 Primogems a day, which is nearly one wish. Over the course of 30 days, this amount truly adds up.

If you do not play Genshin Impact often but still want to acquire Primogems, try completing any available events. Each event grants players anywhere from 240-420 Primogems, and that's not even counting the other events that may be happening simultaneously. Test Runs are also a quick and free way to earn 20-40 Primogems. Whether you're purely a free-to-play player, or if you spend hundreds on each banner, there are always more ways to earn Primogems.
