Where to find Twirly-Whirly & Blitzara in the Genshin Impact Fungus Mechanicus event

The Genshin Impact Fungus Mechanicus event runs from March 23, 2023, to April 3, 2023, bringing players Sumeru's take on the infamous Theater Mechanicus. During the event, you can reunite with Fungi friends who we befriended during Fabulous Fungus Frenzy, including Bongo-Head, Kindlejoy, Twirly-Whirly, and Blitzara. Don't miss out on this rare opportunity to spend quality time with your Fungi friends. Here's where to find all of them around Port Ormos.

How to unlock the Fungus Mechanicus event in Genshin Impact

Before searching for your Fungi friends, you first need to unlock the event. If you haven't already, here are all the prerequisites:

• Reach Adventure Rank 30 or above
• Complete the Archon Quest Chapter I: Act III - A New Star Approaches
• Optional: Complete the Archon Quest Chapter III: Act V - Akasha Pulses, the Kalpa Flame Rises

If you haven't finished the optional quest, head to the event menu and click on the Quick Start button to initiate the event. Otherwise, you'll automatically get the Event Quest called Old Friends, New Game, which will take you to Port Ormos. You need to complete it before you can meet your shroom buddies.

Where to find Bongo-Head & Kindlejoy in Genshin Impact – Fungus Mechanicus

You can find Bongo-Head (our little Fungus!) and Kindlejoy (Haniyyah's Fungus) hanging out beside Haniyyah and Belfour in the event venue. Simply head to the area marked with the Fungus Mechanicus icon in the World Map to find the two shrooms. Don't forget to feed them, play with them, and spend time with them while you can.

Where to find Blitzara & Twirly-Whirly in Genshin Impact – Fungus Mechanicus

During the event, Haniyyah will inform you that Blitzara (Yae's Fungus) and Twirly-Whirly (Layla's Fungus) are staying at her temporary residence north of Port Ormos. In truth, they're actually located closer to Devantaka Mountain. Head to the area marked in the image above to find the two Fungi hanging out with Souka, who we also befriended during the previous event. Like the others, don't forget to spend quality time with these two adorable shrooms.
