How Many People Play Dead by Daylight?

There's no doubt that Dead by Daylight is a popular game with thousands of players per month. It may not quite reach Fortnite numbers, but has more than enough to keep you going through endless matches to get those Bloodpoints! But, how many people actually play Dead by Daylight exactly?

The answer to that question does fluctuate from month to month, depending on a few factors such as new content releases and personal experiences people may be having. On average, through the Steam servers for the game it receives between 30,000 and 50,000 players monthly, but these numbers can also peak as well at the likes of 105,000!

There are of course other platforms such as PlayStation and Xbox to be taken into account as well - so the actual ballpark is most likely between 80,000 to 150,000 players a month across all consoles. See the infographic below for the Steam numbers so far in 2021.

As stated before, at times when Behaviour Interactive drop more DLCs and crossover/tie-in content such as with the recent Resident Evil drop, more players come back to play the game again so they can test out the new packs. So, if you are wanting a big pool of people those are probably the best times to hop online.
