How to add Xbox Players on PC in Halo Infinite Multiplayer

Find some Spartan allies.

With the Halo Infinite Beta releasing early, Xbox consoles and PC players can play the highly anticipated FPS from 343 Industries. Xbox players can party up with their friends on PC thanks to cross-platform capabilities. Adding friends who play on Xbox when you're using a PC can be a bit confusing for new players, though, so make sure to follow the steps we've listed below to find out how to add your friends on consoles.

To add friends who play on Xbox Consoles via PC, you'll need to access the Xbox Console Companion app for PC. Players can head over to the Friends & Clubs tab from the Xbox Console Companion. If the Xbox player has added you first, head to the Activity Alerts tab and accept their friend request. If you've yet to add them, head to the Search Bar and type in the Gamertag of your requested friend. Submit the search, and if you've entered their information correctly, their profile will appear in the center of the Xbox Console Companion. Select Add Friend from their profile to send a friend request.

Once you've added a friend, you can invite them to your lobby by clicking on their name from the Social Menu and selecting invite.

Those playing on Xbox can add the Gamertag of the player using PC via the Xbox Social menu. Thanks to Halo Infinite linking Microsoft accounts with every player, adding Gamertags is a fast way to connect with your PC friends.
