Map with Floating Candles treasure location in Hogwarts Legacy (Ghost of our Love)

He tried so hard.

Like Hogwarts Legacy's Cache in the Castle side quest, Ghost of our Love will have you following a treasure map with very little context. You'll go through the Forbidden Forest to an eerily romantic location where you'll find a hidden treasure. You cannot go directly to the treasure and find it, though, you'll need to follow a set of steps laid out for you via pictograph on the map. Here's where to find the map and how to follow it to the treasure in Hogwarts Legacy.

The Map you are looking for can be found in different places, depending on what house you chose during the sorting ceremony. It's found at the end of a House-Specific Main Quest in which you meet the Ghost of Richard Jackdaw. For example, Slytherin's can find the map inside the cavern behind the squid door that Scrope sends you to. After meeting the ghost of Jackdaw, you can find the Map with Floating Candles inside a chest nearby. All quests give you the same map, so it is solved the same way. Once you've found it, head to the Floo Flame Spot at the entrance to the Forbidden Forest to start your search.

The map will show the entrance to the Forbidden Forest, the symbol for the Lumos spell, floating candles, and a stone bridge. Go to the stone bridge between the Forbidden Forest and Hogwarts Castle to find a love letter resting on the end cap on the side nearest the forest. After reading the Letter, cast Lumos and floating candles should appear.

Unlike Cache in the Castle, you will not have to find specific landmarks on your journey to the treasure, you'll just need to keep your wand lit and follow the candles. They will occasionally zoom off in front of you, just keep your eye on them. They lead to a little clearing with a table set for two. Once the candles reach the clearing, your treasure will appear. It is a Treasure-Seeker's Scarf.
