You will not be able to enter the Falbarton Castle through the main gate, which is why you need to take the broken path on the right-hand side of the bridge. You'll reach a broken wall with several wooden boxes down this path. You'll also notice a hole on the battlements of the castle, and this will be the entry point. You must climb the battlements from this area; check the spot marked with the yellow arrow on the image above. You need to simply jump up on top of the wooden block, and from there jump again to reach the castle's battlement.

Now, while on the battlement, move to the left-hand side where you will find a locked door and an interactable panel on the wall beside it. Hit the panel three or four times using the Depulso spell and the door will get unlocked. Once the door is unlocked, you will find a wooden crate inside the room. Use Accio on the crate to bring it out of the room.

Once the crate is close to you, your wand will automatically cast Wingardium Leviosa. Place the crate on the wall with the hole as shown in the second image above. Use Levioso to float the crate in mid-air and jump on the crate while its floating to reach the top battlement above.

Once you have reached the top, you'll need to eliminate a few enemies. After defeating them, use Revelio to check the passage in wall on the left-hand side of the top battlement. However, this passage is blocked by a piece of wood. You can use the Basic Cast to break it. Enter the passage, and you'll find another wooden box blocking the passage. Turn back, exit the passage, and stand in front of the entrance.

To remove the wooden box, you simply need to go around the castle. There is a small window on the opposite side of the castle, and the crate is visible from that angle. Stand in front of the window and cast Accio on it and bring it closer to the window. This way, the path to the gate room will be clear for you to enter. Now, go back around and enter through the passage you explored before.

Once inside the door room, you will find a similar panel mechanism like the one you unlocked before. Use Revelio to identify them, and hit the panel mechanism with Depulso three or more times. Likewise, cast Accio on the handle to activate the gate's mechanism and open it for Natty to enter the castle.

Once this is done, the main door will open, and you can continue with the remaining parts of the quest. You will get the Highwing mount as a reward for completing the quest. This is how you can climb through the battlements and open the main door in High Keep quest in Hogwarts Legacy.
