How to skip dialogue in Hogwarts Legacy

Hogwarts Legacy is the most awaited game replicating the popular fiction Harry Potter series theme. There is undoubtedly a plethora of mysteries surrounding the wizarding world, which you unveil as you interact and progress further in the story. But sometimes, it can be a bit of a drag to hear all the monologues of every NPC and other characters. Here's how you can skip dialogues in Hogwarts Legacy.

Can you skip dialogue in Hogwarts Legacy?

If you wish to skip through the scenes and dialogues in Hogwarts Legacy then all you need to do is press the Y or the Triangle icon on your controller. If you are playing on a PlayStation, you choose the Triangle icon. Those playing on their Xbox will have to press Y to skip through the dialogues in Hogwarts Legacy. You can refer to the image above to see the Triangle option in the bottom right-hand corner. So every time you can skip a dialogue, this option will appear at the bottom of your screen.

One of the biggest downsides of narrative-driven adventure games is that you have to read and listen through every conversation. No doubt that some can be useful while others can be a drag. For example, you may want to skip the cut scenes involving the casual wizard duels where the students repeat the same monologues once you defeat them. But you cannot replay any of the scenes you choose to skip, so make sure to do it wisely.
