Where to get Graphorn and Graphorn Horn in Hogwarts Legacy

Rescue the mightiest of creatures!

After learning that Graphorns would be in Hogwarts Legacy, my inner Newt Scamander wept tears of joy as I wanted to protect and bring this creature to the Vivarium. The Graphorn is one of the magical creatures you'll meet in later phases of the game during San Bakar's Trial main quest. You need to know where the Graphorn is located to tame this creature and make it your ally. Here's how to get Graphorn and Graphorn Horn in Hogwarts Legacy.

In San Bakar's Trial, you must seek help from the Graphorn, known as Lord of the Shore. This creature resides in the southern part of Clagamar Coast. Check the yellow circle on the map image above to find the Graphorn den in Clagmar Coast. So far, this is the only Graphorn den we have come across in the game.

Once you find the Graphorn, it will challenge you to a fight. You must subdue it without harming the creature too much. You cannot use any of the Unforgivable Curses during this fight. Instead, use Confringo, Diffindo, and the Basic Cast to subdue the Lord of the Shore.

The Graphorn has two signature moves, one where it leaps forward and the other where it charges at you. Keep avoiding both attacks and bring its health down to interact with it.

This boss fight will have two levels, and once the Graphorn is down to its last bit of health, you will be provided with a choice. You can either kneel or choose to attack the Graphorn. We recommend choosing to kneel in front of the magical creature to make it an ally. After this, you can ride the Graphorn and complete San Bakar's Trial. The creature will automatically get added to your animal inventory, and you can set it free at the Vivarium in the Room of Requirement.

As for Graphorn Horns, you can purchase them from Brood and Peck (located at Hogsmeade Village) for 700 Galleons each. Alternatively, you can visit the Graphorn in your Vivarium. Use the Beast Petting Brush to pet it and the Beast Feed to feed the magical creature. In return, it will give you Graphorn Horns, which can be used to upgrade gear and add traits to your equipment.

You can return to the Graphorn Den in Southeast Clagmar Coast to find, battle, and catch another Graphorn for breeding. Only one will spawn at a time, so you will have a 50% chance of getting the gender you need.
