All collectible types in Horizon Forbidden West

Are you looking to line your pockets?

As you come to familiarize yourself with Aloy and the diverse regions that forge the Forbidden West, you'll begin to notice the many Collectibles that you can obtain in exchange for various perks. Unlike Resources, which are primarily used for crafting traps and acquiring new gear, Collectibles reward XP and other useful items.

There are six different types of Collectible, all of which can be tracked via the lengthy mission list. In total, 49 Collectibles make up Horizon Forbidden West, and each is available to collect at any point during Aloy's journey.

Collectible Types

  • Relics Ruin Ornaments (9) - Small objects left behind by the Old Ones. These can be obtained by completing environmental puzzles around the map. Each puzzle rewards you with XP, Skill Points, and a Relic Ruin Ornament.
  • Vista Points (9) - Fragmented images. These can be completed by lining up an old image with a modern one. Although each one does not reward XP upon completion, they do offer some insight into the Old Ones' history.
  • Signal Lenses (6) - Special lenses. These can be obtained around The Daunt. Locating all of them will result in a bundle of free crafting materials, as well as a trophy.
  • Black Boxes (12) - Flight data from airplanes. These can be traded in to Untalla, who will reward you with resources, parts, and items.
  • Survey Drones (10) - Airborne drones. You can collect the data from these by leaping onto them and dragging them to the ground. Each downed drone rewards data, which you can use to alter GAIA's Room in The Base.
  • War Totems (3) - Optional Easter eggs. These are often found by chance, and can only be obtained by following environmental clues as you progress through the story.Vista Points (9) - Fragmented images.
