As with each of the relic ruins, these are a type of puzzle that is based around exploring an old ruin in order to reach one of the ornament collectibles. In order to complete this one, players will need to make sure that they have already gotten the Igniter from the main quest of following Sylens.

Opening up the Runner's Wild Ruins

Entering into the open part of the ruin at its base, players will first need to pullcast the blue metal on the wall to open it up. After opening the room, go inside and jump up to the higher level to go down inside the further level below. Here there will be Firegleam for the player to ignite and open up this room.

On the other side of the wall with the Firegleam, players will be able to pullcast a crate down from a short platform into this room. Once it is just inside of this room, players will need to open up the passageway back with the pullcaster. Then push the crate through this new opening. Push it as far as it will go to reach yellow ledges on the walls.

Stacking the crates

Climb up these yellow ledges to the roof. Up here there is a chest, some Greenshine, and another crate. Push this crate down off of the edge of the roof onto the further dilapidated roofing and then down into the main open area.

Push this against the ledge nearest to the first crate so that it can be stacked out in the open area. Once stacked, push these over to the initial platform where Aloy had taken the first crate from. Then push them through the opening in the wall left by the Firegleam.

Getting the Altar Room key

From here, climb up the higher yellow ledges from the inside of the tower. Players can grab the Altar Room key here. Jump back down and head over to the locked door. Enter the key into the terminal. Luckily, this one won't need a code on top of the key.

Then open this room with the pullcaster. Head back out and grab the stack of crates once more to bring back into the Altar Room through the new open wall. Push it up the upward slope through the open doorway. At the height of the slope, use the crate to climb up the yellow ledges on this side of the tower. At this inner level of the tower, players can collect the Easter ornament.
