How to upgrade the Tripwire Pouch in Horizon Forbidden West?

How do you carry more Tripwires?

Horizon Forbidden West allows players to upgrade their equipment and "pouches." You can do this at workbenches scattered around the game's massive open-world map. The pouch upgrades will garner a range of effects mostly centered around the carrying capacity for the targeted item.

Tripwire Pouch upgrades allow players to carry more Tripwire at one time. This is a great pouch to upgrade early in the game because Tripwires have the ability to deal massive damage to enemy machines. Tripwires are especially good for players who favor a stealthy playstyle.

What ingredients are needed to upgrade the Tripwire Pouch?

There are a total of four Tripwire Pouch upgrades. The items needed for each upgrade are listed below:

  • Upgrade 1 - 25 Metal Shards and 1 Jay Wishbone
  • Upgrade 2 - 50 Metal Shards and 3 Rabbit Hide
  • Upgrade 3 - 100 Metal Shards, 1 Bighorn Sheep Bone, and 3 Owl Feathers
  • Upgrade 4 - 200 Metal Shards, 3 Crab Shells, 1 Gull Wishbone, and 1 Iridescent LobsterShell

These items can be obtained by killing animals around the map and looting their bodies. Some items are more difficult than others, but animals seem to have a much higher chance of dropping rare items than machines, so it shouldn't take too long to upgrade this pouch.
