Does King’s Bounty 2 have multiplayer co-op?

King's Bounty 2 is a game most similar to games such as Heros of Might and Magic, so it is no wonder why some are wondering if it has multiplayer offerings. 

To make a long story short, the answer is no, and Kings Bounty 2 is a single-player game with a heavy focus on story and single-player gameplay. 

The developers have also confirmed as such during a press event where the game was showcased last year. During this press event via discord, the developers explained that the game would not feature multiplayer as from the start, the focus has been to provide a single-player experience.

So, if you were hoping for an experience similar to Hero of Might Magic, the game is just that and plans to be more, just single-player only. That being said, here is a brief rundown of the sort of game King Bounty 2 plans to be.

What is King's Bounty 2?

King's Bounty 2 is set in vast a fantasy world that plans to bring an adventure on the scale of the Witcher series but in a turn-based3rd person RPG hybrid format. 

Players can play as one of three characters, one of which is a melee-focused character called Aivar, while the other is a magic user and one that has yet to be revealed.

Factions and quests will also play a strong role throughout the game, and you will be able to build a decent-sized army and form alliances with said factions. 

Players can also claim structures, fight countless battles, and gain resources that will allow them to purchase various units and gain other bonuses in the game. Battles in the game will also feature unique mechanics such as line of sight and terrain differences. 

Units will also vary from traditional fantasy races to dwarfs, humans, elves, trolls, and even undead and dragons. Various spells can also be used alongside these units from various schools of magic to help turn the tide in their favor.
