Many gamers have fond memories of playing through the first six movies in LEGO form back in 2007, and now TT Games has brought us all nine movies together into one game. TT games knew that placing content from nine movies into a game was no easy task, but the studio decided to give it a try. Luckily, it seems as though their risk may have paid off. Here are five reasons why LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga could be the biggest game of the year.
Story
LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is at a bit of an advantage when compared to other games. Its story already exists and is already loved by millions. Even if you are not a fan of all nine of the movies featured in this game, you will still be able to play through and experience your favorite Star Wars movie in LEGO form. However, this doesn't mean the game is a one-for-one copy. TT Games have made plenty of changes to classic dialogue and scenes and added tons of original side missions and stories to still make the game feel unique.

Visuals
Being a LEGO game, there is only so much you can do with the visuals of a world made entirely from plastic. It would be easy to make the game look 100 percent LEGO, with everything being clean and tidy plastic bricks. TT Games manages to take something ordinarily boring and make it something so visually interesting. The bricks on desert planets are covered in dirt, and character models can be seen donning scratches and seems on their plastic bodies. The game also includes a perfect combination of realistic environments and LEGO ones.
Scale
Scale is where LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga really stands out as potentially the BIGGEST game of the year. This game features the stories of nine films and allows you to visit and explore 24 highly detailed planets from the Star Wars Universe. The game features a roster of 300 characters and over 100 Ships that you can unlock. On top of all that, a staggering 1,166 Kyber Bricks can be found and used for upgrades. Lastly, the most impressive demonstration of scale is that in order to 100 percent the game, you will need to earn 10 Billion Studs.
Variety
You may think a game about plastic bricks couldn't have tons of variety, but you would be wrong. LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga brings variety in both environments and in gameplay. With 24 unique planets, you will never get tired of your surroundings. The gameplay constantly feels fresh, with tons of characters that have unique mechanics. Some characters fight with force powers and a Lightsaber, while others choose to keep a firm hand on their blaster.

Humor
LEGO games are known for fun takes and humorous jokes. They take the story of Star Wars and make it an absolute blast to play through. Even in the more emotional and serious moments, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga finds a way to ease the tension and keep things light-hearted. It is a welcome feeling to play a game and leave it feeling good, especially after so many recent games shoot for a much darker and serious tone.
So there you have it, those are our five reasons why LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga could be the biggest game of the year. LEGO games are not for everyone, but it's clear that TT Games has created something truly special this time that deserves to compete with any other big-budget game released this year.
