All Races in Lost Ark

Lost Ark is a fantasy MMO set to release in early 2022. The Korean-style MMO features action-based combat and a compelling class system. Your classes are one of the primary ways in which you’ll customise your character in Lost Ark. But what are the races in Lost Ark?

Lost Ark features the standard fantasy races of Humans, Elves, and Dwarfs. However, many of these races are connected directly to classes, rather than something pickable when you make your character.

You’ll encounter a multitude of races and creatures while you play Lost Ark, but as a player character you’ll be limited to Humans and Elves. What’s more, since these are tied to your class and advanced class, you’ll have to select the class that aligns with that particular race to choose between Elf or Human.

In the future, some classes and advanced classes may allow you to look into other races such as Dwarves and other fantasy staples, but at the moment, Humans and Elves make up the majority of all characters.

Ultimately, while you’ll meet an incredible array of fantasy races, creatures, and species in Lost Ark, your character will likely remain either Human or Elf. Beyond this, enemies in Lost Ark are often Demons, or creatures called Guardians. You’ll face these along the way as you level up in Lost Ark.
