Best Tank Classes in Lost Ark

In Lost Ark, players will be tasked with choosing a class at the start of the game. This can be a tough choice to make, especially when there are so many options. Players can make the decision easier by narrowing down which role they would like to play: DPS, Tank, or Support. If Tank is the desired role, then the best classes to go with are Gunlancer, Paladin, or Scrapper, as they all have benefits that lend themselves well to a player in the tank role.

Gunlancer

The Gunlacer is an extremely versatile class in Lost Ark. With high damage output, a huge pool of health, and hefty shields, this class can take on just about any role players desire. The Gunslinger can also interrupt some of the boss mechanics in the game, making this class a valuable addition.

Paladin

The Paladin class is one of the more complex classes to play, but it allows players lenience when learning the game due to its high HP. The Paladin class, like the Gunlancer, is a pretty versatile class and can also act as a support class.

Scrappers are decently well balanced in Lost Ark and act as great classes for players wanting to play a tank. Scrappers have pretty great DPS output as well, though they can fall behind when it comes to mobility.
