How to complete A Nose for News in Lost Ark

Sometimes, quests don't go as planned.

A Nose for News is a Roster Quest that you can complete in Lost Ark once you reach the endgame and hit Level 50. In fact, it is a subplot for a different quest titled Iceberg Inquiry that you can obtain in Stern.

As you progress through the quest, you will eventually come across the subplot called A Nose for News that asks you to use a Magick Flow Detector. The object needs to be thrown in certain areas of the map of Nebelhorn on the continent of Arthetine in order to proceed.

However, the quest suffers from an issue in which the area outlined on the map is not the area that the Magick Flow Detector needs to be used.

You will actually need to go a little more north, toward a waterfall in the same area as described above. There, you can use the item that will then reveal an NPC named Suspicious Tech Brand Employee who you must speak with.

You will then be asked to interrogate the NPC using the /interrogate emotion, which then prompts them to ask you to speak with Lab Director Yulia in Nebelhorn Lab. Lastly, you will need to call Mathias, a journalist who you were helping when starting the Iceberg Inquiry quest, to complete A Nose for News and receive another subplot quest titled A Sickly Sea.
