The Pirate King in Waiting is a Hidden Story in Lost Ark that requires you to have completed a piece of the Tortoyk main quest. It has a time limit and spans the two areas and one dungeon in Tortoyk. Keep in mind that the time limit gets reset to a new time after every new investigation, so be sure to follow the guide closely.
Where is Pirate King in Waiting Hidden Story?
First Hidden Story
The first Hidden Story begins on Skyreach Steppe in Tortoyk. You have to climb up a cliff to reach this area full of pirates. You'll find pirates that spawn quickly in the area you're looking for, so investigate it after they've all died.
Find a tent with many boxes and a large net. Once investigated, you have 10 minutes to find the next location. The spot is marked on the map above.
Second Hidden Story
Next, you need to go to the west side of Mokoko Village. Next to the tavern, you will notice four large barrels under a canopy. The next hidden story can be found in the barrel closest to the door. After you have investigated the barrel, you have 30 minutes to find the next location. The spot is marked on the map above.
Third Hidden Story
This next part requires you to have access to the pirate den dungeon, so if you don't have access yet, you'll have to do the main quest until you can enter this dungeon and repeat this process.
Enter the Pirate Den and hurry through the story until you reach the end. In the end, beat the monsters as quickly as possible and then search the middle of the wooden floor you are standing on. Look at the image to see where you can investigate, and the spot is marked on the map above.
