Best Teams for Beginners to use In Marvel Strike Force

Best teams for beginners to use in Marvel Strike Force.

With nearly 200 characters available in-game, building a solid set of reliable teams in Marvel Strike Force is not as easy as it may seem. Marvel Strike Force has been beyond exceptional in establishing an enormous roster of playable characters in just its four years on the market.

Sinister Six

While there are many powerful villains to be unlocked, the best villain team for new players to start with is the Sinister Six. Although it may seem contradictory, similar to their comic book appearances, there are more than six members available to choose from for this squad.

For this team, the best lineup for your Sinister Six team from left to right is as follows: Rhino, Mysterio, Electro, Green Goblin, and Vulture. Shocker can be substitutable for Vulture, but Shocker can only provide Offense Up, and 5% armor per Sinister Six ally. Vulture, however, provides high levels of damage.

As for Doctor Octopus, or "Doc Oc", he is a late-game unlock that must be done through his legendary event that is currently not available. So, let's not worry about him for now!

Defenders

With Luke Cage handed to you at the beginning of the game and Daredevil being farmable in the Arena Store, the Defenders are a quick unlock for beginners. Play every day for an hour or so, and you should have the Defenders in no time.

Unfortunately, Defenders aren't particularly too useful down the road as players begin to compete online against more sophisticated teams like Black Order, Symbiotes, or even an X-Force team. Your Defenders lineup should be spotted identical to this: Luke Cage, Punisher, Daredevil, Iron Fist, and Jessica Jones on the end. All in all, the Defenders are the white bread of Marvel Strike Force. They are easy to unlock, reliable, but nothing fancy.

Shield Minions

Shield minions are far from glamorous or fan favorites, but surprisingly enough was considered one of the best teams shortly after the game's launch. Having Shield Medic given to you at the start of the game, Shield Security available in the Arena Store, Shield Minions are rather easy unlocks as well.

Unfortunately, with so many new characters/teams added to the game over time, they have fallen down the ranks immensely. Still, a team to invest in for newer players typically under level 25, they will help in campaign nodes and Blitz. Left to right, Shield Minions should look like this: Shield Security, Shield Medic, Shield Assault, Shield Operative, and Shield Trooper.
