Meet Your Maker takes place in two phases—raiding and building. The first will see you challenging other players' outposts and trying to escape with their genetic material. You'll face guards and traps and must rely on your weapons to survive. This may leave you wondering what the best Meet Your Maker weapons are.

S-Tier Weapons

Volt Lancer

The Volt Lancer is the best projectile weapon in Meet Your Maker. It has fewer shots than the Falconic Plasmabow but has the major benefit of destroying traps. Upgrades increase the shots it has, as well as the reload time. With the ability to retrieve your shots, having as many as the Plasmabow is unnecessary, making the additional firepower much better.

Sledgeblade

The Sledgeblade is a heavier version of Fury's Edge. While this decreases the attack speed, the extra weight allows you to break armor. This is crucial against armored guards and makes killing them more reliable. It does lack the ability to block projectiles, but dodging these is the better option anyway. Upgrades increase the attack speed, so it can compete with Fury's Edge.

A-Tier Weapons

Arc Barrier

The Arc Barrier isn't so much a weapon but rather a shield. It can block almost anything, even explosives, making it a great tool. We prefer having the additional offense of two weapons, but those who prefer having an extra defensive option besides dodging will want to pick up the Arc Barrier.

Fury's Edge

The Fury's Edge is a great weapon, trading power for speed that lets you attack rapidly. It can block projectiles, but equipping the Arc Barrier or dodging are better options. Additionally, it cannot break armor, so you have to aim your swings for unguarded areas on enemies.

B-Tier Weapons

Falconic Plasmabow

The Falconic Plasmabow is great against guards, as it fires quickly and has large ammo reserves. The downside of this is that it cannot destroy traps. This makes it pointless unless you face a level with many guards.
