Best Minecraft Banner Ideas and Patterns

What are some of the best banner designs in Minecraft?

Banners in Minecraft allow for lots of customization. Players can create many different designs and patterns on the banners. Some designs are more complex than others, but with the help of a loom the sky is the limit for what players can create.

Fox Banner

This banner with a fox design is on the complicated side, but it is definitely worth it. This design has a lot of detail, and if the primary orange color is changed to gray it can double as a wolf banner as well.

Steps (All designs can be found by name in the loom crafting menu):

  • Base - White Banner
  • Step 1 - Black Lozenge
  • Step 2 - Orange Bordure Indented
  • Step 3 - Orange Roundel
  • Step 4 - Orange Creeper Charge
  • Step 5 - Orange Inverted Chevron

  • Base - Red Banner
  • Step 1 - White Paly
  • Step 2 - Blue Chief Dexter Canton

The Hylian Shield Banner

  • Step 1 - Red Flower Charge
  • Step 2 - Blue Per Fess
