Inside Ocean Monuments, players can find items such as Sponges and Sea Lanterns. Other items players can find include:

How many Elder Guardians are in an Ocean Monument in Minecraft?

A total of three Elder Guardians are inside Ocean Monuments. One Elder Guardian will spawn in the penthouse, while the other two will spawn in each wing of the Ocean Monument. Regular guardians will spawn on the outside of the monument. 

Both creatures are pretty aggressive toward players, but Elder Guardians are the more dangerous of the two. Elder Guardians will cast debuffs on the player, making it extremely hard for players to break blocks. The best way to kill Elder Guardians is to close the distance with a sword or use ranged attacks.
