The Drachen Armor in Monster Hunter World was one of the best Armor Sets in the base game. Although, the Iceborne Expansion makes this armor virtually useless when compared to the higher Rank Armor that gets unlocked. The Drachen Set looks fantastic but is tied behind the Event Quest, A Visitor from Eorzea (Extreme), which can be very difficult to complete. Completing the Quest will unlock the Glamour Prism that is needed to craft it, along with a few other necessary materials. This is how to unlock the Drachen Layered Armor in Monster Hunter World.
How to unlock the Drachen Layered Armor in MHW
Unlocking the Drachen Layered Armor requires that players be Hunter Rank 50 or higher to take on the Event Quest, A Visitor from Eorzea (Extreme). This quest also gets players the materials they need to make the Drachen Alpha Set, Gae Bolg Insect Glaive and Layered Insect Glaive, and the Gold Chocobo Rod. The Layered Armor can be acquired at the Resource Center, unlike other Layered Armor like the Buff Set, under the Complete Deliveries section and requires
- 5000 Research Points
- 1x Glamour Prism - Rewarded from the A Visitor from Eorzea (Extreme) Event Quest.
- 3x Light Crystals - Can be found in Blue Mining Outcrop in High Rank Areas.

In the Event Quest, players will have to go up against Tempered Behemoth, a unique Monster that can only be fought during these quests. It's weak to the Dragon Element and is considered to be one of the most difficult fights in the game. Luckily, players only have to complete the quest a single time to get the Glamour Prism to unlock it.
Strategies for Tempered Behemoth in MHW
There are three main things that players need to keep an eye on when fighting Tempered Behemoth in Monster Hunter World. It deals a large amount of damage so players should bring lots of Life Powder, and if they have the Iceborne Expansion, Dust of Life. Additionally, Flash Pods should be brought to interrupt the Monster's most intrusive attack, Charybdis. This will create a tornado, similar to Kushala Daora's, and can be interrupted with Flash Pods until it starts to resist it. There are times when only one player will be targeted as they gain Enmity or aggro, as seen by the red line attached to them.
It will use Comet every so often, and players should stand in an open area so that the rock is easy to hide behind for when it casts Ecliptic Meteor. When using its normal Meteor attack, players will be able to see where the attack is going to hit, making it a bit easier to dodge. The main thing to pay attention to is other players' health, where the Comet lands to hide behind, and making sure Charybdis doesn't obscure the area too much. Thunderbolt is troublesome, but once the Behemoth's horns are broken, it won't be able to use this attack. With good coordination, players can defeat Behemoth and earn their Glamour Prism before long.
