Where to find Bismuth Prisms in Monster Hunter Rise

Launching into the air to find some rocks is the kind of revolutionary gameplay we deserve.

Bismuth Prisms in Monster Hunter Rise come from mining Iridescent Ore, a material found in the Lava Caverns. These are marked by little purple question marks on the map and require a bit of jumping around to reach. This is how to get Bismuth Prisms in Monster Hunter Rise.

How to climb walls and use the Wirebug

Players can climb walls by launching themselves with the Wirebug, traveling up a wall automatically by consuming stamina and sprinting upward. If players lose their stamina, they will backflip off. If this happens and the player still has a Wirebug to use, they can launch themselves back up to sprint upwards again, using the stamina they recovered after the backflip.

The controls for launching themselves against the wall are:

  • Switch - ZL will enter aiming mode and ZR will use the Wirebug to launch the player.
  • PC - Middle Mouse/Click will enter aiming mode and Mouse Button Four will use the Wirebug to launch the player.
  • Playstation 4/5 - Using a PS4/PS5 controller on Steam, L2 will enter aiming mode and R2 will use the Wirebug to launch the player.
  • Xbox One/Series X/S - Using an Xbox controller on Steam, LT will enter aiming mode and RT will use the Wirebug to launch the player.
