Any new game launch is bound to have its share of issues, and New World is no exception. It was especially considering the sheer number of players trying to log into New World. As a result, a couple of issues have popped up, including the TooManyRequestsException error.
This error can appear practically whenever it wants and tends to do so when in the queue. As frustrating as it is, there is a temporary fix. When the message appears, select ok to remove the error message. Rather than try and rejoin the queue, do nothing. After two to five minutes, you will rejoin the queue in your former position.

This technique isn't 100 percent effective, but if you attempt to rejoin manually, you will find yourself at the very end of the queue. As the queues are quite long, simply close the error message and wait to rejoin your spot. The developers are aware of the issue and working quickly to address it.
Unfortunately, there is no permanent fix for this error, so hopefully, you don't get it. If it appears, try the above method, and with luck, you will find yourself back in the queue. Some players have also reported that in the lower queue around spot 50, this method will not work at all.
