Login queues and connection issues are bound to happen in a new MMO, but it's still frustrating when they do. Even more so in New World, where players have been facing an error stating that they’ve “Failed to Join Login Queue.”
Thankfully, there are a few quick fixes to solve this error. If you get this issue while you’re in the queue, first click the OK button to close the error message, not the X in the corner.

Then under the Character List, you’ll see two buttons, View Worlds and Refresh. Click the Refresh button. At this point you’ll need to wait for a moment. Once the Refresh button has greyed out, click the View Worlds button.
Wait again until the queue list appears. This should list all worlds and the queues available. This could take a little while, so be patient! Don’t press Refresh again.
Once the list of worlds has fully loaded, and details the queues, you should be ready to log back in. Re-enter the queue by pressing Play and the error should be solved. This works 99% of the time.
If not, restart your game, repeat the steps, and try again. Good luck queuing in New World!
