Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl shook the fighting game community when it appeared as a potential competitor to Nintendo's Super Smash Bros Ultimate. The team behind Nickelodeon All-Stars Brawl seems to be more interested in supporting a competitive community than Nintendo as well, hosting an official fighting tournament to celebrate the game's release.
The Nicktoon Throwdown Invitational will take place from October 5, 2021, to October 9, 2021, the Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl launch week. Eight players plan to compete for the Invitational championship title. Those interested in watching the event can tune in to twitch.tv/nickelodeon at 5 pm EST/2 pm PST each of these days to watch the players compete.
Each round's scheduled dates are listed below:
- Round 1: October 5-6
- Semi-Finals: October 7-8
- Finals: October 9

Blending nostalgia with platform fighting, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl pits some of Nick's most popular characters against each other in a variety of familiar locales and venues. The in-depth mechanics and controls show promise and hint at a fighting game with some legs should Nickelodeon keep supporting it.
