Now that school has started, many players look forward to playing games on their Chromebooks during breaks. Some people believe that actual laptops underpower Chromebooks, and they're right. Since Chromebooks use a web-based OS, you'll be limited to web-based games or specific titles small enough to run on such a limited-format platform. Fear not, for if we can't have the performance, we'll just have to make it up with good mechanics and fun gameplay—which I prefer in games anyway. Here is a list of the top 10 best games you can play on your School Chromebook.
Top 10 Games to Play on Your School Chromebook
10 - Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
If you're an RPG fan like me and want a quality role-playing experience without being too picky on the platform, Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition is the right choice for you. This enhanced edition of the legendary genre staple runs on an overhauled Infinity Engine and even comes with the free Tales of the Sword Coast expansion pack!
9 - Krunker.io
Krunker.io is a web-based first-person shooter that all genre fans will instantly adopt. This incredible low-poly game really reminds me of the legendary Counter-Strike a little bit, just enough to get me playing for hours with my friends.
8 - Alto's Odyssey
This incredible side-scroller was tons of fun, and I fell in love with its gorgeous graphics and backdrops since playing its predecessor. This game offers the very same experience and even introduces some new mechanics, so if you gave Alto's Adventure a go before, try Alto's Odyssey as well. You are guaranteed to love it.
7 - Roblox experiences
Why choose only one game when you have thousands at your fingertips? Roblox is an incredible platform that lets you pick and enjoy numerous experiences that the players themselves make, and you can even build one of your own if you feel creative enough! Browse through many awesome experiences, pick the one you like, find codes for it, and have hours of mindless fun!
6 - Fallout Shelter
Learning how to survive a nuclear fallout is still learning, right? Fallout Shelter is a game that takes you back to the post-apocalyptic world of Fallout that we all know and love, but in a side-scrolling, low-resource way. While it may not be in three dimensions, it's still just as fun to play as any of the game's bigger brothers on PC and consoles.
5 - Stardew Valley
Stardew Valley is a low-pressure farming game that is perfect if you want to lay back and have a chill. Its isometric view provides an ideal view of the beautiful graphics that are beautiful in their simplicity, and the excellent gameplay will ensure you have fun for hours.
4 - Hearthstone
If you're a Blizzard fan but like gaming on the go, you don't have to look further because Hearthstone has all you can possibly need. It features all your favorite heroes and races from other Blizzard games made into collectible cards. I like the game's basic mechanics, and its energy system makes the sessions play at just the right tempo.
3 - Marvel Snap
Marvel Snap is one of my favorite card games. I like to play it when commuting or during the break with my colleagues, so it will be perfect if you're on a break from class, too. Not only is it fun, but the sessions are short, making it ideal for when you only have a little time to play longer-form games.
2 - Terraria
Terraria is one of those games that can provide you with hours of mindless fun without requiring too many PC resources, and as such, it is perfect for this list. The sandbox concept of this game will let you have fun and be creative while wondering how quickly the time passed since you started playing it.

Among Us is a game that's terrifying, funny, exciting, and frustrating all at the same time. Now imagine playing this banger with your friends on a break. One word that comes to my mind is hilarity, as you all try to figure out who the imposter is by discussing it in the meeting in the real world.
