All Hero Changes for Overwatch 2 Season 3

Widowmaker now much easier to kill!

With the new season of Overwatch 2 comes several touch-ups to new characters. The biggest change has been to tanks in an open queue/arcade modes since they now have an HP cap of 300 for balancing purposes. That being said, there are plenty of other changes that will affect ranked play, including a Widowmaker that will be much easier to kill.

Patch Notes for Overwatch 2 Season 3

Note: All Tank Health Bars for open queue modes are at 300 unless otherwise noted.

Junker Queen

  • HP increased from 425 to 450 .

Orisa

  • Damage falloff range from her primary fire reduced from 25 meters to 15 meters.
  • HP in open queue modes reduced to 125.

D.Va

  • HP for Mech in open queue modes reduced to 200.

Ramattra

  • Ultimate cost increased by 12%. Also, damaging enemies with Annihilation now slows the timer down instead of stopping it entirely. Ultimate duration is now 20 seconds.

Reinhardt

  • HP in open queue modes was reduced to 175.
  • Cooldown on Charge reduced to 7 seconds from 8 seconds.
  • Fire Strike now deals 100 damage.
  • Earthshatter direct hit damage was reduced from 250 to 170, but the knockdown time now increased to 2.75 seconds. Ultimate cost also increased by 7%.
  • Rocket Hammer knockback reduced from 10 to 6.

Roadhog

  • HP in open queue modes was reduced from 700 to 550.
  • Whole Hog now lasts 8 seconds, but Ultimate cost increased by 8%.

Sigma

  • HP in open queue modes reduced to 200.
  • Ultimate cost for Gravitic Flux increased by 7%.

Winston

  • HP in open queue modes reduced to 200.
  • Barrier Projector health reduced from 700 to 650.

Wrecking Ball

  • Shield health increased to 150.
  • Pile Driver cooldown is now 8 seconds.
  • Minefield now arms in 1 second, but Ultimate cost increased by 9%.

Zarya

  • HP in open queue modes reduced to 100.
  • Graviton Surge cost increased by 8%.

Ana

  • Biotic Grenade effect now lasts for 3.5 seconds.

Brigitte

  • Healing from the Repair Pack is now reduced to 50 per second, but using a pack now instantly heals 25 HP.
  • Rally cost reduced by 10%.

Lucio

  • Sound Barrier cost reduced by 7%.

Mercy

  • Guardian Angel cooldown is now 2.5 seconds, and canceling the ability with a backward jump now moves 20% slower.
  • Caduceus Staff heals 45 HP per second, but healing is increased for allies under half health by 50%.
  • Regeneration Passive has been eliminated, and replaced with Sympathetic Recovery, which heals herself for 25% of healing done with Caduceus Staff.

Moira

  • Coalescence cost was reduced by 5%.

Zenyatta

  • Ammo for Orb of Destruction increased from 20 to 25.

Cassidy

  • Combat Roll can no longer be interrupted by colliding with an enemy.
  • Falloff range for Primary Fire increased from 20 meters to 25 meters.

Junkrat

  • Concussion Mine max damage output was reduced from 120 to 100.

Mei

  • Blizzard cost were reduced by 5%.

Pharah

  • Barrage Ultimate cost reduced by 5%.

Reaper

  • Death Blossom cost was reduced by 8%.

Soldier 76

  • Now takes six shots to reach maximum recoil for primary fire. In general, recoil has been reduced by 12%.

Sombra

  • Bullet damage from Machine Pistol increased from 7 to 7.5 per bullet.
  • Hack can now hack health packs for 45 seconds instead of 30.

Symettra

  • Photon Barrier cost increased by 10%.

Torbjorn

  • Turret health was reduced from 250 to 225.

Widowmaker

  • HP reduced from 200 to 175.
