Best Grass Type Pokémon in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

What Grass Type Pokémon is the best in Pokémon Legends: Arceus?

While the Mythical Pokémon Shaymin would be at the top of this list for its stats alone, Mythical Pokémon are not easy to get ahold of, and sometimes players need a strong Grass-type attacker quickly. Tangrowth is a fearsome Grass-type Pokémon and can be the base of most Pokémon teams.

Other strong Grass Type Pokémon in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

Players will have no lack of options for Grass-type Pokémon in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. The game's Grass-type starter, Hisuian Decidueye, is a great Pokémon and stands as one of the best Grass-type in the game. Leafeon and Torterra, a starter Pokémon from Generation 4, also have decent stats. Roserade, Abomasnow, and Hisuian Electrode are also decent choices for players who quickly need some Grass-type moves.

Hisuian Decidueye

Hisuian Decidueye is a Fighting and Grass dual-type Pokémon. This typing isn't bad by any means, though it does result in Decidueye having a 4x weakness to Flying-type damage. It does compensate a bit for this by having a great list of resistances and a great attack and special attack stat.

  • Type: Grass and Fighting
  • Stat Total: 530
    • HP: 88
    • Attack: 112
    • Special Attack: 95
    • Defense: 80
    • Special Defense: 95
    • Speed: 60

Torterra

Torterra is a Ground and Grass-type Pokémon with a great attack stat, decent defense, and special attack. Torterra isn't the best Grass-type Pokémon but is a nice choice if players are in a bind. It does have a 4x weakness to Ice-type damage but an immunity to Electric-type damage.

  • Type: Grass and Ground
  • Stat Total: 525
    • HP: 95
    • Attack: 109
    • Special Attack: 75
    • Defense: 105
    • Special Defense: 85
    • Speed: 56

Leafeon

Leafeon has always been a fan favorite alongside its fellow Eevee evolutions. This Grass-type Pokémon has a great attack and defense stat but can fall flat in some other areas, like its HP and special defense. Overall, this Pokémon is a safe choice for players needing a good Grass-type attacker.

  • Type: Grass
  • Stat Total: 525
    • HP: 65
    • Attack: 110
    • Special Attack: 60
