Some of the most powerful Pokémon in Pokémon Legends: Arceus are Ground-type Pokémon. While Ground-type Pokémon are often strong in battle, none compare to Garchomp. Garchomp is one of the best Pokémon of any typing and can be a huge asset to players in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
Garchomp
Garchomp has stats that rival even legendary Pokémon. With its worst stat being its special defense, at 85, it doesn't really have any bad stats. Garchomp's biggest downside is its 4x weakness to Ice-type damage, but it also has an immunity to Electric-type moves.

Other strong Ground Type Pokémon in Pokémon Legends: Arceus
There are other great options for players needing a Ground-type Pokémon on their team. Rhyperior, Mamoswine, and the new Pokémon Ursaluna are all strong contenders and have great stats of their own.
Ursaluna
Ursaluna is a new Pokémon from the Hisui region, and with its massive 140 attack stat, it will likely remain as one of the best Ground-type attackers in the franchise. It has a few weaknesses, but its dual Normal and Ground-typing gives it two immunities (Ghost and Electric-type moves) which can be a massive advantage in battle.

- Attack: 140
- Special Attack: 45

Rhyperior
The highlight of Rhyperior is its massive attack stat, but it can fall short of other Ground-type Pokémon with its two 4x weaknesses to Water and Grass-type moves. These are common typings in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, so players using Rhyperior should be cautious about which Pokémon are pitted against it.
