In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, moves determine your Pokémon’s potential in battle. Pokémon will naturally learn more powerful ones as it levels up, but you can also visit Zisu in Jubilife Village to have it learn others for a price. This is true for every Pokémon in the game, including Espeon—one of Eevee’s many evolutionary forms.

Best moves for Espeon
Espeon is a Pokémon with an extremely high Sp. Attack stat. This means that it’s better off keeping special attacks over physical ones. Given that info, below are the best moves it can learn.
- Quick Attack (learned at level 6)
- Psychic (learned at level 25)
- Shadow Ball (learned from the Move Tutor)
- Dazzling Gleam (learned from the Move Tutor)
Moves that are used by Pokémon of the same type have their base damage increased by 50%. We call this same-type attack bonus (STAB). Psychic is going to be your Espeon’s STAB move. Meanwhile, Shadow Ball and Dazzling Gleam are powerful moves that are super effective against Dark and Ghost-type Pokémon, which Espeon is weak to.
Quick Attack is there so Espeon can potentially get two turns consecutively (or another turn later on) when you first use it in Agile Style. After all, next to Sp. Attack, Speed is Espeon’s highest stat.
