Best moves for Regigigas in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

It's slow but it hits like a truck.

In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, moves determine your Pokémon’s potential in battle. Pokémon will naturally learn more powerful ones as it levels up, but you can also visit Zisu in Jubilife Village to have it learn others for a price. This is true for every Pokémon in the game, including Regigigas—the Colossal Pokémon.

Best moves for Regigigas

Regigigas is a bulky Pokémon with an abnormally high Attack. This means that it’s better off with physical attacks than special attacks. Given that, below are the best moves it can have.

  • Zen Headbutt
  • Crush Grip
  • Giga Impact
  • Rest (learned from the Move Tutor)

Moves that Pokémon of the same type use have their base damage increased by 50%. We call this same type attack bonus (STAB). Giga Impact is going to be your Regigigas’ main STAB move. However, you can use crush Grip if the opposing Pokémon has a higher HP.

Meanwhile, Zen Headbutt is super effective against Fighting- type Pokémon, which Regigigas’ one weakness.

Rest is for regening HP, a great move for a high-HP Pokémon like Regigigas in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. After all, the game doesn’t have the sleep status—only drowsy. Drowsy Pokémon can still sometimes move. It’s no different from being paralyzed and will only last a maximum of five turns.
