Scizor is a Bug and Steel-type Pokémon in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. It will evolve from Scyther using a Metal Coat. Scizor has a terrific attack stat and can do huge amounts of damage in battle with the right moves.
Because Scizor is a Bug and Steel-type Pokémon, most of its most powerful moves will also be Bug and Steel-type. This is because of the S.T.A.B. (Same Type Attack Bonus) which will give bonus damage to moves that match a Pokémon's typing. Scizor's best moves are Close Combat, Iron Head, X-Scissor, and Air Slash.
Move Name | Move Type | Category | Power | Accuracy | PP |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Close Combat | Fighting | Physical | 120 | 100 | 5 |
Iron Head | Steel | Physical | 120 | 100 | 15 |
X-Scissor | Bug | Physical | 120 | 100 | 15 |
Air Slash | Flying | Special | 75 | 95 | 20 |
Scizor will learn Close Combat at level 43 (masters at level 54), Iron Head at level 34 (masters at level 45), X-Scissor at level 34 (masters at level 45), and Air Slash at level 18 (masters at level 28).
How to use Scizor best in battle
Scizor is a Steel and Bug-type Pokémon. Players should keep in mind this Pokémon's weaknesses and resistances when using it in battle.
Steel-type Pokémon are vulnerable to Fire, Ground, and Fighting-type attacks. Steel-type attacks will be super effective against Ice, Rock, and Fairy-type Pokémon.
Bug-type Pokémon will take increased damage from Fire, Rock, and Flying-type attacks. Bug-type attacks will be super effective against Grass, Psychic, and Dark-type Pokémon.
Scizor's base stats
- Stat Total: 500
- HP: 70
- Attack: 130
- Defense: 100
- Special Attack: 55
