Best Nature for Bergmite and Hisuian Avalugg in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

Which Nature is best for these icy Pokémon?

In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, a Pokémon's Nature will have an effect on two of its stats. One will be raised by 10%, while another will be lowered by 10%. This may not seem like a huge change but this small upgrade/downgrade in a Pokémon's stats can play a large role in how it performs in battle. A Pokémon's Nature can be the thing that makes it stronger or weaker than other Pokémon, even of its own species. All Pokémon will have a Nature when caught and players can find this Nature on the Pokémon's summary page.

In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, the icy Pokémon Bergmite and Hisuian Avalugg have a massive defense stat. This gives them an advantage against opponents in battle, as they can take more hits than the average Pokémon.

Best Natures

  • Impish: Defense (+), Special Attack (-)
  • Relaxed: Defense (+), Speed (-)

How to choose the best Nature

Because these Pokémon have a great advantage in battle due to their high defense stat, players looking to choose the best Nature will want to find one that strengthens this attribute. Impish and Relaxed will both accomplish the task, with Impish raising defense while lowering special attack, and Relaxed raising defense at the cost of speed. These are good options because special attack and speed are not very useful to Hisuian Avalugg in battle and the lowered stats will not be missed that much.

While these are the two Natures that best compliment the Pokémon's stats, this does not mean that they are the best for every player. Though this Pokémon has a great defense stat, players who do not utilize that in battle will not benefit from the Natures that increase its effectiveness. The best Natures will come down to each individual player's playstyle and how they use their Pokémon in battle.
