Best Nature for Nosepass and Probopass in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

What is the best Nature for the Compass Pokémon?

Natures play an important role in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. While players don't have to pay attention to a Pokémon's Nature, they affect the Pokémon's performance in battle. The Nature will raise one of the Pokémon's stats by 10% and lower another one by 10%, making a big difference when facing off against opponents.

Nosepass is a Rock-type Pokémon that becomes a Rock and Steel-type Pokémon upon evolution. These Pokémon have a great special defense stat, which gives them an advantage over their opponents in battle. Nosepass and Probopass can take some heavy hits in battle without much impact due to their special defense.

  • Calm: Special Defense (+), Attack (-)

How to choose the best Nature

Because these Pokémon have such a high special defense, it is important that their Nature increases this stat even further. Sassy and Calm will both raise special defense, with Sassy lowering the speed stat and Calm lowering attack. If players choose the Calm Nature, they should be sure to avoid physical attacks, as these will not be boosted with the Nature.

Players will ultimately be able to decide which Nature is best for their Pokémon as it really comes down to playstyle and how the Pokémon are most frequently used in battle. If players rely heavily on a specific stat, then they should find a Nature that boosts that stat and lowers another, less important, stat.
